Odd Places Gameplay Introduction

In Odd Places, we step into the shoes of urban explorers seeking to confront their fears while growing their fame among fellow streamers.
The Dark Hill Ranch is a place that lures in daring adventurers, where each owner has mysteriously vanished, promising to catapult intrepid visitors to viral stardom.
The objective of the game is to venture into the wild nature surrounding the property until finding the entrance. Once inside, your curious nature will lead you to uncover the secrets lurking within. You must then prepare yourself, use the appropriate devices to gather evidence, and escape with valuable footage that will propel you straight to fame!
It's an Ameri-trash style game revolving around action mechanics, events, cards, tokens, luck, dice, item usage, and abilities within a horror movie-inspired narrative.
"A group of friends ventures into a distant and ominous place" is the kind of premise that never ends well...
About the Project
The Odd Places project, designed by me, René, is a board game endeavor that aims to immerse players in a chilling Urban Exploration horror experience.
The objective is to provide both a Physical Edition for your home and an Online Free to Play version for universal access.
As an independent creator, I harness the power of various free tools and free platform subscriptions such as Tabletopia, Dundoc, AI image generators, Inkscape, GIMP, and Wix to bring this vision to fruition.

Replayability
It's a title that approaches Urban Exploration from the perspective of content creators aiming to please their audience by staging situations behind the camera. They'll be taken by surprise when they realize that behind their skepticism lies an unexpected presence lurking at every turn.
My intention is to create an experience that can vary between playthroughs and always feel unique. That's why the game is designed to offer locations with changing geography in each game, explorers with different traits, a plethora of inhabitants of various classes with unique abilities, plenty of items, and spine-chilling events of various natures.
